How to remove transitions from slider?

Hello. I am trying to remove the transitions from my slider photos (page here). I have ensured that “No Transition” is selected in the “Slide Animation” section of the slide (see attached screenshot), but the slider photos still display a ‘Fade’ animation when transitioning between photos. How can I resolve this?

I have taken care to clear the cache, as well as carry out a hard reload.

Thanks.

Hi there,

Please go to Slider Settings > General Settings > Defaults > Transitions > No Transition.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. I carried your instructions (see attached screenshot), but the slider is still showing a fade transition between photos. How should I proceed? If you would like admin access to my site, I can grant it.

Thanks.

Hi There,

Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look on your settings? Please provide following information:

Set it as Secure Note

  • WordPress Admin username / password
  • FTP credentials

All the best!

OK I have sent the info you requested in a Secure Note. Please let me know if you have any issues.

Thanks.

Hi There,

Before we proceed on trouble-shooting this, please fix this error by configuring your content source properly (https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/special-content-sources/).

For now, set the Animation Duration to 1ms from the screenshot you provided above.

Thanks,

Hi Friech. Thanks very much for your help. But there are several new issues that are confusing me.

You indicate that the front-end of the slider in-question is broken, and that I need to fix it. I see the reason it is broken–someone has changed the content source from ‘Default’ to ‘Youtube Video.’ But I’m quite sure I did not do this. When I gave support my login information, the content source was set to ‘Default,’ and there would be no reason for me to change the source to ‘Youtube video.’ Regardless, I’ve changed the content source back to ‘Default,’ so the correct slider photos should now appear in the slider.

For now, set the Animation Duration to 1ms from the screenshot you provided above.

I tried this, but I did not see a change in the transitions–there is still a fade.

Thanks.

Hi There,

The error is the fist thing I see on your site when I visit the link you provided above, so its definitely not me. And we do not do changes to a site unless the client permits us.

Anyways I think the fade effect transition that we are seeing is part of the Ken Burns Effect. Turn off the Ken Burns Effect of each of your slide and that should remove the fade transition.

Thanks,

Thanks for the reply.

OK then, thanks for that. Perhaps I inadvertently changed that setting. No worries.

OK thanks for that. I have removed the Ken Burns effect and that indeed removed the fade effect. We can consider this resolved.

I’m glad to hear that, we’re delighted to assist you with this.

Cheers
