How to remove site title?

the site title never used to be there but now with some update i can’t seem to remove it. how do i remove the site title from every page on my website? it wasn’t there before until i recently updated it. i don’t want to go into Settings, General, Site Title and make it blank because i want the site title to still appear on the tab. so i’ve looked at past posts but none of the following works:

• putting into Global CSS.
  x-logobar{
  display: none;
  }
• putting into Global CSS:
  .x-header-landmark {
  display: none;
  }
• checking “Disable page title” on the page

how do i remove the site title?!?!?

Please add following CSS under X > Launch > Options > CSS to remove site title:

.x-logobar {display: none !important;}
