How to remove border around featured image

I am having trouble removing the border around an image on one of my pages. I put a featured image in for a specific page and the image has an ugly line at bottom. I want to remove this line. I tried using

.entry-featured {
border:0;
}

as i found in a previous thread and this did nothing.
Please help. thank you
