How to remove blog from home page

I’m new to using Themeco Pro for web development. Have been reading and watching tutorials but haven’t found an answer to this question. After setting up header and footer for front page, the page displays blog content between the header and footer. I don’t want blog content on my front page. How do I accomplish this?

Please select Static page as home page from Settings > Readings > Your homepage displays.
