How to remove blog content from home page

[dirkt]

I’m a novice Wordpress developer looking a X Pro. I’m trying to set up separate sub-pages for multiple categories and want to remove the the default list of posts that exists between the header and footer that is there after installing the theme for the first time. I believe that it’s probably a simple solution that I’m overlooking but can’t figure it out.

Hi there,

Thanks for writing around! I believe you’re looking for this https://codex.wordpress.org/Creating_a_Static_Front_Page

Hope this helps!

That was it. I wasn’t putting the pieces together correctly of how the theme integrated with WP. Thanks.
