How to move elements between Containers

Hi,

I’m trying to move some elements between containers and it doesn’t seem to be working. I drag the element over to a different container and the container greys out a bit as if to indicate that it will be moved to this container (like how you move things around in cornerstone) but then nothing happens when I release. why is it broken?

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! Are you referring to the elements in Header/Footer builder in Pro theme? Regretfully at the moment you cannot drag and drop elements to different bars or container. You can only drag and drop to swap out the order of the elements, containers or bars.

Dragging and dropping of elements to the bars and containers is already in our enhancements list. It might take a while when it is going to be implemented.

Is there any news on this?

This seems like a rather basic feature.

Since we can’t copy/paste an element’s style easily some aspects of the header/footer creator are really cumbersome.

Hope this can be fixed in a near future.

Still waiting on this functionality. It’s SUPER time-consuming to have to recreate every element in each container.
