So I get the full stretch of the content block,

Hello Hans,

Thanks for writing in! It seems that you are using the default page template. Kindly switch to the Blank - NO Container | Header, Footer page template to resolve your issue.

You can find it in the Page Attribute meta box:

And if you are editing in Cornerstone, find the Gear icon so that you can get to the Page Settings.
