How to make menus pages a blog list? (ethos 1)

Hi, I am new and am wondering how to make my menus options bring you to a list of chosen articles?
Example:
My front page will include a list of blogs in order from last posted.
I want it for someone who clicks my menu heading “Beginner Guide” it will list blogs/posts I choose are my beginner blogs. How can I setup the page to act in that manner?

Thanks,
Jamie

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in! Simply follow the steps below.

1.Assign a category to each posts that you would like to display in a particular page.
(Eg: Trending)
2.Create WordPress page with a title you like.
3.Then you can use the recent posts shortcode to display those posts assigned to your category.
4.Add the page to your Menu by head over to Appearance > Menus section.

Hope hat helps.

Thanks for the reply. I have step 1,2 and 4 done. However I do not know how to accomplish step 3.
Thanks

Hey Jamie,

Here’s the usage sample of the Recent Post.

Alternatively, you can also use the Essential Grid or The Grid

Thanks.
