How to make featured posts images go to a custom link

Hello. I’m trying to be able to make it so that when people click on the featured image of my posts on my home page, I want to be able to direct them to a specific link, and not have it go to the post itself.

Like this site “awesomestufftobuy.com” when you click an image, it goes to the amazon link, not to his post. When you click on the text, it goes to the post page. How can I do this too?

He is also using the X theme

Hi Aaron,

Thank you for writing in, regretfully that is not possible with X theme natively. But you can utilize the Essential Grid extension to create a posts grid, and then link your posts to a Custom URL using the Essential Grid’s Custom Meta feature (please see the following documentation).
