How to make {{dc:post:excerpt}} show with breaks/paragraphs?

Hello,

I have posts with an excerpt that includes two paragraphs e.g.

hello

Themeco

but when i use {{dc:post:excerpt}} to show this on category it shows like this:

helloThemeco

Is there a way to make it, so the stylings/paragraphs are applied without me manually wrapping each in p tags?

Hello Jack,

Thanks for writing to us.

Please note that by default WordPress excerpt returns plain text and it doesn’t print any formatted text just because you can not have multiple paragraphs or formatted text. In case you want formatted text then I would suggest you please add your text in the Excerpt box with a paragraph tag. Please have a look at the given screenshot below.

If it doesn’t work for you, please share your details in a secure note. Please provide the following details

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin-level username and password
  • Exact page URL

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts

Thanks
