As you can see the font takes 1sec ± to load giving a glitch. How do I make it load faster?

What you’re experiencing is FOUT or Flash Of Unstyled Text. That’s unavoidable. You can just alleviate it if you optimize your site.
If you want the text to be hidden while the font is loading, you can choose the Block Font Display under the Font Manager Settings.
