Hi There,

I believe that is not possible. It would cause the website to be quite heavy so it is not reccomendable.

Can you clarify what you re trying to achieve in order that we can give you recommendations?

I want to built a website for a photographer, who shall be able to manage his galleries easily.

The website is Revolution Slider based and the galleries shall be too.

Because it is easy for un-technical people to manage Essential Grid galleries (easier than to manage sliders) I thought there would be a way to set an essential grid as source for a slider.

Especially the possibility of sorting the gallery items with drag and drop is my aim.

Hi There,

You could try adding the Essential Grid Shortcode to a text element in Revolution Slider.

But I am not 100% how it would work since it possible it could create some conflicts between the plugins.

But it is worth to give it a go.

Thank you but my aim is another one.
Inserting the shortcode will show the grid inside one slide.
I want to set the grid as source for the complete slider.
As it is possible to design a post based slider I want to build a grid based slider, so that for every image in the grid a separate slide appears automatically.

Hi There,

Unfortunately that is not a featured offer by the theme or these plugins.

The Grid itself is not a post type and would not be possible to have it as a source.

You would need to select the same source as you are using on your grid.

Do you know another way to build a slider that show automatically the title of the background image?
On post based sliders it can be done with shortcode {{title}} in a text field.

I’m sorry but I’m not sure where exactly you would get the “title of the background image”. Please give us more details and screenshots. For now, please check Slider Revolution’s documentation to see if that is possible.
