How to import demo content?

Hi

i have a fresh wp install with the pro theme activated but i cant figure our how to install the demo content?

there are no demo extensions or addons listed. Please advise…

Did we get this answered? I had “X-theme” and now converted to “Pro” and the Demo content is not where it used to be…

Thanks for writing in! The demo content is not available in Pro theme. The demo content and customizer manager is an exclusive feature of X theme.

If you want to have a demo please do this:
1.) Please install X theme first and activate.
2.) Go to X > Overview > Demo Content and import the preferred demo.
3.) Deactivate X theme and
4.) Activate Pro theme.

Now, if you already have converted all your license to Pro, you can no longer download X theme in your dashboard. I would recommend that you go to ThemeForest.com and in the downloads section, you should be able to download a fresh copy of the X theme.

Yea, I figured that out. So is it ok to have both “X” and “Pro” installed? I did notice when I did that X theme had an update. I updated just didnt want to later have issues. Should I uninstall the “X-theme” via FTP?

Hi,

Yes wordpress still notifies updates even if the plugin or theme is deactivated.

You may delete it from FTP if no longer needed.
