How to hide WP sensitive information?

Hi guys!

For security purpose, I am looking for a pinch of code aiming to hide sensitive information — such as PHP & JQuery versions + the list of installed plugins — from nosey WPThemeDetector, Wappalyzer, etc. (see screenshot below).

Hey Victor,

Regretfully, we do not have a function to hide those information you listed. For the WPThemeDetector, the best you could do is install a child theme. You might need to consult with a developer for this.

Hi Christian,

Of course, we use a child theme from the beginning of our X/Pro installation — even though WPThemeDetector is still able to list most of our plugins.

As for the last three ‘developers’ consulted about this basic question, no one was able to bring us a solution… :roll_eyes:
