How to Hide Footer Area

Is there a way to hide the footer widget area only when the widget, e.g. cart, is hidden? So let’s say there is a widget area set to cart on www.paulettebodeman.com, but there is nothing in the cart. With nothing in the cart the cart widget doesn’t show, but the blank footer still does show and I’d like it to hide as well.

If the above stated is not possible, then can the footer only be shown on one page? And what would I need to do to only show the footer on one page?

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.

Thanks for understanding. Take care!
