We have a multi dev team and wanted to know why we cant use one license between two devs via wamp.Its only being used on one live site. Why do I have to purchase multiple licenses for one site. This is ridiculous!

Thanks for writing in! Please understand that we strictly follows the one license per site policy. We have made adjustments and that is why you can have two sites per license for production (live) site and staging site. This applies to dev sites as well since dev sites were considered counter part of the staging sites. You have to understand that in dev sites, you can still create virtual host names like my-one-site.dev or my-dev.site which is exactly the same as a domain name. The license validator application will not detect the server. It simply verifies the site url and whether this url is assigned to the license or not.
In most cases, if you a developing a site, you only have a dev site and a product site. Since you have several dev sites which would mean that you will be having several live sites, I suggest that you just revoke, reassign the license and validate the dev site to be able to use the license.
