How to get carousel at top of ethos themed webpage

I am trying to get a carousel similar to the one on Knife Up. I’m using the ethos theme and i went to the customize page in the wordpress dashboard and turned on “post carousel” but a carousel wasn’t added to my page.

What do i need to do to be able to add a carousel like the one in the link above?
