How to export raw content from a Cornerstone site?

Hello

I have a site built using X Theme and Cornerstone and I would like to export all of the raw (plain text) content for backup purposes.

When I look at the database, posts are stored as Cornerstone markup which isn’t easily exportable.

How might I go about extracting the raw content?

Hi There,

Thank you for writing in, you can save your Cornerstone page as a template (.csl file). And you can import that file to other Cornerstone pages or you can keep it as a backup.

Thanks for the reply - much appreciated.

The data that I’d like to backup is the actual post content, rather than the Cornerstone page. Is that possible? This will help me determine how easy it is to switch themes at a later date.

Thanks for updating thread. You need to manually extract texts from Cornerstone elements by copying texts from elements to a external source. As of now there is no automated process to take out text from elements.
