How to edit the sidebar

I want to add a content-rich sidebar onto my blog post page, there are context, image, call-to-action.
How can i edit the sidebar?
So i can include these content.
The sidebar design sample as the following images.

Thanks for reaching out.
The sidebar content is controlled from the Widget, you need to add the content through the widget to the widget area.

I tried in many ways to add sidebar, but not working, I think there has some error in the theme, you see the attach image, i often got this notice on top while working in sidebar.
Can you help me on this?
