I have products listed using WooCommerce shortcode. Whenever I select “Add to Cart”, the page reloads with no notice that the product is added to cart or anything.
How can I add a notice here along with a link to cart page?

The cart animation message won’t be showing when you use the product in Shortcode.
You have to set up WooCommerce shop page or archive page to get the message that product has been added to cart.
If you don’t know before how to setup woocommerce product page, here is a video can help you on this.
Regarding the cart button, you can activate it in X-> Theme Option -> WooCommerce enable the menu there.

Thank you for replying, I found an alternate solution for this. I have another query though.
There’s an option to enable WooCommerce navbar menu that can display cart icon and cart total. Is there anyway I can move this navbar icon to the breadcrumbs area? Or perhaps use this anywhere on the page using a shortcode or any other particular code?

unfortunately, the option you are looking for is not available in the theme. To move the cart button need custom development. You can check out this for shortcode reference.
To use cart functionality in the page content you can use these there elements as per your convenient.
