Seems that 7.2.1 has introduced breadcrumbs structured data. The data generated however is incorrect so I would need to disable X theme generated breadcrumbs but there seems to be no setting for that?
How do I disable breadcrumbs structured data??

There are 2 ways to add breadcrumbs to your site using our themes. One is enabling the breadcrumbs in the header. That setting is in Theme Options > Header > Miscellaneous. You can disable it there.
The other way is using the Breadcrumbs element. If the Theme Options Breadcrumbs is disabled and you still have a breadcrumbs in your page, chances are, you have added the Breadcrumbs element in the page. You need to remove the element.

Yes, thanks, solved. Was this a new featured added with a setting “On”? If yes, I would hope that new features are added “Off”. Otherwise I have enabled it by mistake myself, but have no recollection.

The theme options setting should remain as is whenever you do an update not unless it is an entirely new feature added to the theme options where it will have a default value. The setting on your site might have been enabled before and was overlooked.
Well, at least there have been no breadcrumbs in structured data before so it seems to be that the features was added at some point with setting on? Or at least the structured data handling?

Yes, the breadcrumb structured data was added in version PRO 3.2.0 / X 7.2.0. But the breadcrumb option in Theme Option should remain as to how it was saved before the update.

OK, so for some reason breadcrumbs did not show up on the front-end so I had not noticed they were “on”?

In that case, please go back to the Theme Options, Pro > Theme Options > Header > Miscellaneous and double check if the breadcrumb is enabled. And after making the site changes, remember to clear all your plugin caches if you have installed one.
