How to delete G+ from author box?

Hello there,

I had entered my G+ url in my profile so that it would display in the author box below blog posts.

Since G+ is being retired, I’d like to remove that but it looks like Google Plus has been entirely wiped out from Wordpress (although the usermeta is still in the DB).

I went in the usermeta table and deleted an entry corresponding to my G+ URL and that was associated with my user id. However the link still displays in the authorbox and I’m not too sure what to do from here…

Looks like this was simply a caching issue (although I did clear all cache prior to posting here).
