How to deal with empty columns in 3 of the smallest break point views

How do I get rid of the space from empty columns? I thought I posted this topic already but I don’t see it on the list.

In edit mode, there are spaces beneath the last image in the column because of 2 empty spaces. Also, I experimented and added a white placeholder to keep the squares the same size. If I just leave the columns, there is a big space in edit mode with the 2 empty columns after it. See attached. The problem occurs when I have for example 3 images in one row and 1 image in the second row with 2 blank columns left. If I delete the 2 columns, then the image appears bigger. See attached.

Hello There,

Not from themeco but it’s an easy one :

First question :

  • When you inspect the column, under the “customize” tab, you can hide the column for the breakpoints that you want. Just click on the three last breakpoints and the columns will disappear when needed.

Second Question :

  • Now inspect your “row” and under Column fill, select Auto/Grow depending on your need.

Best regards !

Hi Grace,

You can follow the suggestion given by @Thaelys, please let us know if you face any issues on that.

Hi @Thaelys,

Thanks for your suggestions.

Ok I will check it out…and follow through.

Great! Kindly let us know how it goes.

What is the difference between auto and grow? I hide the columns on all of the break points. What a neat trick!

Hello Grace,

The Grow checkbox will force any Columns to fill all available space when possible. Please have a look at our doc https://theme.co/docs/row#reverse-grow. You can also check out our video tutorial as well.

Thanks
