Hi There,

You can use Cornerstone section top and bottom separators, and add a background color to your row, while having zero margin on the section on rows so it looks similar.

That is one idea, you also could use background images of course.

but this would not give the diagonal lines right?
and even if you made them match in one screen size, they may not match properly in another screen size?

Regretfully what you are trying to achieve could only be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.
