How to Create Demo Site

Is there a tutorial on how this site was created?

http://demo.theme.co/band/

Additionally - is there a tutorial on how this site was created:

http://demo.theme.co/ethos-3/

Hi there,

You can simply import the demo content in the admin area:

Hope this helps.

Hi there,

Yes, that helped. However, I am running into an issue that I need more support to understand how to make work.

The main theme/site (which is live now) is using the ‘Agency’ skin. What we want to do is to be able to use the ‘Band’ skin on a specific page. We installed a development version of the site at http://eeproductions.org/dev. From there, we tried to export the homepage template from the Band skin and then tried to upload it to the root site at the http://eeproductions.org. It did not load.

First question - Are we able to use two different skins (Agency + Band) with the X theme?

If so - How can we achieve this?

If not - Do you any suggestions as to how we can do this most efficiently. I do have access to limited CSS skills. However, if there is a way to not have to get into any soft coding - that would be fantastic.

Thank you for your support.

Hi There,

Agency demo is using Ethos stack while Band is using Integrity Light.
We can only use one stack per site. Each stack is unique with different design and features. Mixing design and features is unfortunately possible only with customization. That would need lots of custom CSS and it is outside the scope of our support. We do have an in-house custom development team that offer paid services, who may be able to assist. They can be contacted at pinnacle@theme.co if this is of interest to you. If you have any further questions about the theme, we are more than happy to provide you with assistance on these inquiries.

Thank you for your understanding.

Hi, I emailed pinnacle@theme.co on 12/3/17 and have yet to hear back from anyone. Is there another way of contact?

Another route I was thinking of pursuing is to create a different URL for the page that will use the ‘Band’ theme…

In order to do this, will I need to purchase additional licenses to create multiple installations of the X theme if every installation is in a subfolder of the primary URL?

i.e each page would be an additional wordpress site

Hi,

If you are using subfolders on the same domain name, no need to buy another license.

Thanks

If I use a different domain, will I then need additional licenses?

Hello There,

Please be advised that for each license, you can assign it to a staging site and a live site. If you wish to set up another staging site, you can simply un assign the license and re assign it to another site. To do that, please go to your account licenses (https://theme.co/apex/licenses), click the edit icon link and insert your new staging site or new domain.
