How to create better buttons

Hi,

So with the cornerstone builder, I can create beautiful buttons that look exactly how I want. But I can’t get them to function how I want.

Basically, I want a click of a button to open a form, but I can only get clicking buttons to link to a particular page.

I can accomplish what I want using a content area modal and pasting the shortcode of the form in the content area. The problem with content area modals, however, is that I can’t get them to look how I want.

Is there a way I can get the same functionality of a content area modal with the look of a button?

Cheers.

Hey Mark,

I believe you are referring to styling the Content Area Modal’s Toggle? The Toggle does have the same options as the Button element except for the Link options. Click on Toggle in the Content Area Modal element navigation.

Hope that helps.

Thank you

I’ve created a content area modal and got it in the colors I want and it functions how I would like. But there is just one small thing I would like to change, if it’s possible.

Currently the modal is in a round/pill shape, can I change it to a square/rectangle shape like most buttons would be?

Cheers.

Hey Mark,

Your Content area modal element toggle is rounded because of the border radius. Please go back to the Content Area Modal > Toggle and make sure that the border radius is set to 0.

If you need anything else, please let us know.
