How to Create a Forum in Website?

One solution is to use WPForo wordpress plugin. It is a new forum software out there and very customizable. You can get it in the Word Press repository at https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpforo/

Thanks for the tip! This looks interesting, and I had not run across it before, though integration with membership sites looks to be an issue at this point (which is a concern for some/many). I’ll certainly keep an eye on it. 
It seems to use it’s own user roles and there is currently no way to ‘sync’ roles a membership site (or other plugin that creates unique roles) might create, so user-management/access would currently need to be done manually. (And, oddly enough, the devs don’t seem to understand why that’s an issue in their forum threads where it is pointed out.)
In my research so far… all the WP forum type solutions have big integration holes, horrible UIs, or serious performance issues. 
I wish that weren’t the case, but unless forum needs are simple, standalone forum solutions still seem to be better, IMO. (Though that leaves one with the same user administration problem.)
