How to change the navigation?

Hi,

Our site has two different navigations for two sections of the site. One for product users (https://www.mygp.com/user/) and one for partners (https://www.mygp.com/im-nhs-staff/). Before updating the theme a while ago (before the settings were in Cornerstone but in Pro settings) the navigation could be changed in Header builder. This no longer seems to be the case. How / where can navigations be assigned / changed now?

Thanks,
Frank

Hi Frank,

Thanks for reaching out.
There is nothing change on the Header assignment or selecting the Menu in the Navigation Inline. Your current website in the 5.1.5 does not show the problem you describe here, I would suggest you please copy your live site to a staging server and update the Pro to its latest version and check if the issue exists or not. If not, please update the live server. If exists, please give us access in the secure note including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

Thanks

Hi @tristup,

Thanks for your reply. I updated the staging site to the latest version of Pro but am still unable to see where to assign the navigations to specific pages. The attached screenshots show the Header Builder view of Pro 5.1.5 and Pro 6.1.3 but in neither version I ca see where to assign the navigation to a page.

Could you take a screenshot of the screen where to asign menus and if not evident in the screenshot also explain how to get there?

Thank You
Frank

Hi Frank,

You are selecting the wrong tab, please find the screenshot describing it.

Hope it helps.
Thanks

Ah, thanks!! Not quite that obvious. Assigning the navigation in 5.1.5 worked. But on the staging site in 6.1.3 the current assigned pages and post types are not listed. See screenshot below. Since weI should be updating the live site to 6.1.3 too, any suggestions why no previous pages are listed?

6.1.3.

Hello @frankgresslin,

It might be the issue of cache I would suggest you go to the cornerstone—>Settings —>System—>Clear System Cache.

Hope it helps
Thanks
