How to change preview snippet when a webpage is shared

Hi, where do I go to edit the information that shows up when my page is shared.

I have added Yoast SEO and updated the snippets for Facebook and Twitter.

But when I share my page elsewhere, eg on LinkedIn - it is pulling through some random text. Where do I go within the theme to update the text and image that will feature when a page is shared?

Hi @umaharaj,

Thanks for reaching out.

To change the image, title, and description when you share your page in social media, go to your page and locate the Yoast SEO tab at the bottom and there’s an option to set the image, title, and description.

But if you want to have full control of your on how your preview looks like, you need to upgrade to SEO premium, see the comparison between free and premium here.

Thank you for your response. I have these settings all updated in Yoast.

The snippets I have saved in Yoast are different to what shows up when I share the website link. Refer attached

Do you know where these snippets may be pulling from when I share the page?

I checked your website, I want ahead and a checked in social media like Facebook and Twitter it is working fine according to your <meta> tags content and your given twitter screenshot.

Twitter pulls the website’s date from <meta name="twitter:description" content='''>, meta title and meta image respectively

I checked in Facebook Developer in debug mode as well
