How to add words hyperlinks in footer

Hi,

I am trying to get the hyperlinks and words as shown on this web:

https://incomeschool.com/

at the bottom of the page in the black footer.

I can’t find the option to do that in x theme even when i go to “X” Footer. and the widgets section doesn’t allow me to make it look like that too.

please help.

Hi There,

Thank you for writing in, it’s not the Footer Widget Areas is what you need, but the Bottom Footer.

Enable the Bottom Footer, enable also the Footer Menu, you can create and assign a footer menu on the Appearance > Menus.

Then turn on the FOOTER CONTENT and place your footer text in the FOOTER CONTENT box.

If you need a word to be linked, you can write it as this:

Powered by <a href="http://https://theme.co/">THEMECO</a>

Hello, i tried doing that, but on my webpage it just does’nt show in the black box, instead i think it shows in the white color portion right at the bottom of here: https://theninjaranker.com/

I think the color of the text is white too ad i cant see it.

Please try adding this code in the custom CSS panel:

.x-colophon.bottom .x-colophon-content, 
.x-colophon.bottom .x-colophon-content a, 
.x-colophon.bottom .x-nav li a {
    color: #000;
}

hello, now the words are in black, but i want the foot words to appear in the black section rather than the white

Oh in that case, please remove the previous code then add this:

.x-colophon.bottom {
    background-color: hsl(0,0%,19%);
}

alright,

i have fixed it.

however, i still have this “Home” button located at the bottom of the footer how do i remove it or change it text color?

Hi There,

That is the Footer Menu that I mentioned above, you can turn that off under Theme Options > Footer > Footer Menu. You can edit a menu under Appearance > Menus.

To change its color, please add this to Theme Options > CSS

.x-colophon.bottom .x-nav li a {
	color: white;
}
