How to add woocommerce product short description in essential grid

Hi,
I am trying to have an essential grid with products, short description included.
About the short description, looking in this forum I found out that it is doable with meta data: https://www.themepunch.com/essgrid-doc/custom-meta-data
but I don’t understand how to do that.

Could you please let me know the right way to solve this?

Hi @rubius

WooCommerce doesn’t save the short description in a meta key, it’s saved as the post excerpt (WooCommerce products are just a custom post type called “product”). So you can’t use custom meta data in this case.

What you need to do is to create a new skin or modify your current skin, then add a new text layer with these settings in the screenshot:

You will get the product short description appearing fine then. Check this guide as a reference:
