Hi,
How do you add a slider to the home page above the menu. I have created the slider, but unsure how to install on page. Thanks.
Hello @micheladventure,
Thanks for writing in!
You need to select the slider under Slider Settings: Above Masthead
to display slider above navigation menus.
Thanks.
Hi There,
Did you have issues implementing it using previous suggestion? Do let us know how you can help you further.
Hi there,
I am trying to do the same thing and add a revolution slider above the nav bar, where should the above instructions be applied i.e. is it in cornerstone or in revolution slider settings? Can’t seem to find it in either.
Thanks,
Ariane
Hi Ariane,
Please visit your home page, click edit page on your WP top admin bar and scroll down and you will find the option slider above masthead.
Hope it helps
Thanks @Joao that worked great, the rev slider is now above nav bar and looking good, I just have one more question i’d appreciate some help on - I want to add an offset at the bottom of the slider so that the nav bar always appears at the bottom of the screen (regardless of screen size). Can you advise how to do this?
Cheer,
Ariane
Hi @ariane,
In your slider revolution slider, you can adjust your min height so that you can show your navigation bar.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
Hey,
Sorry i’m still learning not sure how this would work, can you please elaborate?
This old thread explains a solution (i’m trying to do the same thing) but that is no longer an option (from what i can see) since they updated rev slider. https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/how-to-stick-navbar-or-other-content-to-bottom-of-slider/3916/3
Hi There,
In order that the option to exclude the container appear you need to select Full Screen.
Please see Red Box on top on the image below.
Once you have selected that, the reduce container boxe will appear(second box) and you can type there: .masthead
Hope it helps
Success thanks for the help
You’re welcome!
