How to add rotating shop items to front page?

I would like to add my shop to the front page of my website in a section that showcases multiple products, specials or featured products - is this possible & if so, how?

Thank you!

Hey @ohiocannabis,

This is possible the Essential Grid plugin bundled in X. Here’s a sample of the plugin’s rotating or carousel type display. If the features you need aren’t available in that plugin, you can try searching for plugins that uses a shortcode to display WooCommerce products in a slider or carousel. You can place the shortcode in a Text element.

Thanks.

Yes this is exactly what I was looking for, thank you!

Couple of quick questions:

How do I manage how many posts it will show in one grid? I thought it was in Settings>Source/options/Maximum Posts Preview

It is set at 20 for default, I adjusted it to 10, but regardless of what I set that value to, 15 seems to be populating? OhioCannabis.com has a 3 row grid of blog posts towards the bottom.

Skins - are the only skins available for this the ones that are pre-loaded or are there other free ones out there?

I currently have the skin set to Essential Preview, I like the overall effects and info provided, but how do I change things like the “Check it out” button words & color?

And any idea why the Check it Out button isn’t functioning and going to the article?

Hello there,

Glad to hear that!

Reply:

You can set the maximum number of posts to show in Source tab.

Then for number of posts for each grid, you can adjust the Max Visible Rows option: https://www.themepunch.com/essgrid-doc/columns-rows-pagination/#rows

Here’s a trick about limiting number of post to display that you might be interested in: https://www.themepunch.com/faq/limiting-the-shown-postpage-number/

Reply:

Unfortunately, only the bundled skins. There are no free skins on the net. You can check the pre-loaded ones here for your reference:

Just an add-on info, you can also setup alternate skins: https://www.themepunch.com/essgrid-doc/alternate-item-skins/

You can edit the buttons and text using the skin editor: https://www.themepunch.com/essgrid-doc/item-skin-editor/

You mean that the Check It Out button wasn’t clickable and displaying on your article? Please clarify.

Thank you. Hope that helps.
