How to add my own icons?

Hi there guys :slight_smile:

I’d like to add a new set of icons from https://www.flaticon.com/free-icons/carpentry_122299
Is that possible and how to do this ?

Hi There,

Thank you for writing in, you can download the icons as PNG files, and upload that to your site like a standard image.

Or you can download the file as Iconfont and then follow their documentation here on how you can load it to your site.

Hi there :slight_smile:

I’d like to make those icons appear in the icon search box on the cornerstone
searchbox but I tried several times without any success.

I included fonts files (.svg, .ttf and .wof) in the font folder on wordpress.

I’ve copied the path from dashicons.css and included it in flaticon.css

Unfortunately nothing works …
Any help would be more than welcome

Hi there,

Currently, there is no way of adding your custom fonts in the graphic options of the elements.

What you can do is to save the icon you want to use as a PNG image then use an image graphic as an Icon as mentioned in the previous response.

Is it possible to change the color of the png directly on cornerstone or do I have to edit
it before uploding it ?

Hi Vlad,

You will have to set the color to the actual image first before uploading it.

I have also submitted this as a feature request so that it will be considered in the future development.
