How to add modal element to author

Hi,

I would like to make the vertical author element on this page, on click to open a modal.

I created a seperate modal below it to show what should pop up when the author element is clicked. But am not sure how to overlay the action on to the author element.

How can i do this?

It seems that you want to open a Modal by clicking on the Auther(vertical) element. If that is the case, I would suggest you go through the following thread which may help you.

Hi @nblund, You can use the following code to trigger the modal on the button click. Here open-modal-button is the class assigned to the button and the assigned id of the modal my-content-area-1. Remember that, the anchor-toggle suffix will be added to the given id of Modal. And assign the open-modal-button class to the Author > Customize > Class and check if that works for you. I have tested the same in my local environment, it worked perfectly.
