How to add meta tag to <head> section

Hi there

to verify my website at Northon Life Lock, I have to isert a provided meta tag and paste it into my website’s home page. It should go in the section, before the first section.

Could you please terll me, where I have to pl,ace this code in X-Pro?

If it is not possible to place a new meta tag in my website homepage, I could also add this code to my list of keywords. But where would that be?

Thank you very much for your help!

Kind Regards
Felix

Hi Felix,

Thanks for reaching out.
You can add the meta tags by using the code or plugin available in the WordPress repository. Please find the following article on how you can use the plugins or code.

Hope it helps.
Thanks

Hi Tristup

Thank you very much for your reply and your support with the links.

I was looking for a solution to remove the grey questionmark of my website in the Google search and replace it for a geen check mark, which are provided from Avast Security for trustworth websites. But there are many different security companys, which I would have to provide with meta tags, and even then it is not sure, that I will get a green check mark, so I better leave it for the moment…

Do you have any experience, how to remove the grey question mark in the Google list?

Thanks again for your help!

Kind Regards

Hi Felix,

Regretfully, removing the grey question mark in the Google list is outside the scope of our theme support. You may seek 3rd party developers to help you with your problems or you can avail One where we can answer questions outside of the features of our theme.

Thank you for understanding.

Hi Marc
