i am using Ethocs X theme,
i want to add Custom Java script (search), how to add it to theme
i have tried X<theme options<JS but it dind’t work

I am not quite sure about the custom JS search you are referring. Can you please elaborate? You can take a look at following Google Search Result for some WordPress search plugins.

Thankx for replay
there’s a java script for referral propose , such as Amazon .com affiliates program, one of produce is a custom search
it is kind of ads , they have search bar , or banners, each one come with JS code or Ad code

Hello There,

Is there any instructions that came along with the code? Generally, you can add a custom JS in X > Them Options > Custom JS section. Just make sure that you do not included the <script> tags because it will already be wrapped with the tag when displayed in the front end.

If the instructions is that the code is needed to be added at the header (before the <body> tag) or footer (before closing the </body> tag), I would recommend that you install “Insert Headers and Footers” plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/insert-headers-and-footers/). Then go to Settings > Insert Headers and Footers and insert the Amazon code in the required placement of the code.
