How to add google tag code

Hi

I’m getting error mesage from google tag review :

Tag Assistant could not connect to a tag on

X Child theme is activated and I place google code in function.php (wp-appearance-editor).

Not sure what to do.

Thanks for reaching out.

If you are going to add any script in your footer or header. I suggest that you will use the Insert Headers and Footers plugin. To know more about the plugin, please check this out.
