I have created custom link (book a call) and added colour. I need to open a embedded form on click of this link?
I am using PRO (cornerstone)
Hello Ajay,
Thanks for writing to us.
In case you have added the link through the WordPress menu items I would suggest you please add the menu item as a custom link and add the URL as “#custom_link_form”.
Now you need to go to the section and the custom ID in the section where you have inserted the form.
Please note you need to insert the same section ID you added to the menu item URL. You need to exclude the hash(#) when you insert the ID in the section. Please feel free to change the URL/ID as per your naming requirement but you need to ensure that you have added the section ID and URL same so that you can link the form with the menu button.
Hope it helps
Thanks
Hi Prakash

Hello Ajay,
Hello @Developnow,
In order to open a Modal through the nav menu items I would suggest you go to the Modal element —>customize —>Toggle Hash —>Enter the custom text.
Now go to the WordPress Dashboard —>Appearance —>menu—>add the custom URL, you need to enter the Toggle Hash text with the hash symbol. Please have a look at the given screenshot.
Hope it helps
Thanks
Thanks for that. I am able to embed and open the form. However how do i make this element global. Current modal is on home page only
Hi Ajay,
If you are using custom Header you can add the Modal into the Header and assign the header to the Entire Site. If you are not using the custom Header, you can create a component and add the Modal into it so that it can be accessed globally.
Hope it helps.
Thanks
Thanks.
I am able to create a component and add it one page and open with click on navbar link. However it seems i have to repeat this on every page (hidden section with form component) to make it work.
is there a better way to add this once and open modal component from any page by clicking nav bar button?
Hey Ajay,
As my colleague said, you can add it to the Header or Footer Builder so that when you click the navbar link, it will show your model.
Hope that helps.
Thank you. I will try that way
You are most welcome.
Hi I am able get this working with custom header. thanks for help.
Last thing Can you please suggest if there is way to make it square button? instead of round?
Hello Ajay,
I would suggest you please go to the header bar and remove the disable the border-radius from the element settings or from the custom CSS code. Please note that it is not possible to guide you with only a screenshot I would suggest you please share the exact page URL so we can check it on our end and guide you properly.
Thanks
Hello Ajay,
It seems that you have set the border-radius of the button element I would suggest you go to the Header bar disable the button border-radius and set the border and padding to get the square shape.
Hope it helps
Thanks
