Hello, I have the latest regular X theme. My goal is to create a video on the homepage that is full width and has a play button and some text above. On clicking the button, the video plays in the page and the button and text disappears, no lightbox. What would be the easiest and most lightweight way to achieve this? I don’t want any youtube or vimeo, I want the video to come from my site. Thank you, I am hoping you can come up with something that is easy to achieve.

Regretfully there isn’t a feature in the theme that you can add an Icon button that will play a video. You may check out the Slider Revolution plugin instead:
