How to add a popup modal to shop page products and disable the ability to click into the products individual page

Hello,

There are several things I’m needing help with but one of those things is having a modal popup window come up when you click on a products name or picture. Now when you click on either of those elements it takes you into the individual products page. Is there a way with X Theme to disable the click through to the products page and pull a modal that provides the products short description.

Is that something that can be adjusted with simple code or do you know of a plugin that would process this and will not bottom out the pages speed?

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. With that being said you can try out https://wordpress.org/plugins/yith-woocommerce-quick-view/ I’ve not tested it yet but you can give it a try.
