How to activate class hover effect while scrolling down page

Hi,

This may fall into the category of custom development but I hope the answer is simple enough that you can provide me with some quick basic code or point me towards a resource.

I have these four images that are large (take up entire screen). I have created a text box over the image that has some nice effects when you hover over the column. I noticed that when you are scrolling down my site the hover effect isn’t activated by default while scrolling even if the mouse cursor is over the image. As soon as I stop scrolling and move the mouse the hover effect works perfectly.

I would like some code to activate my hover effect class when the cursor is over the image even while scrolling.
