How to access page/post code built with pro builder?

Hi there. First of all I would like to say how much I appreciate Xtheme support and the amazing functionality of the theme. Currently I am trying to access the code built in Content Builder with pro - a post prototype layout which has worked very well. My question is “How can I access the code and all of the elements/content that I have build with Content Builder so that I can add the code to another html editor (specifically using FormidablePro to facilitate Front-end Post - User creation/editing.”

I reviewed the kb’s and documentation but have not found the solution yet. After building in Pro Content Builder, saving, and the switching to text editor on the saved post, I only get the CS code structure (no elements and related code). Is there an article I have missed here? I believe this type of “code grab” was previously available in X with Cornerstone. I did read the recent update regarding the pending “template update”. Will I need to wait until this update is released?

Thanks for your help.

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in!

How to access page/post code built with pro builder?

  • Simply edit the page in WordPress Dashboard > Pages/Posts > find the page/post and edit it using the WordPress default editor. Switch to Text tab so that you will see the shortcodes. You may ignore the warning message which says “Hold up! You’re welcome to make changes to the content. However, these will not be reflected in Cornerstone. If you edit the page in Cornerstone again, any changes made here will be overwritten. Do you wish to continue?”.

The problem is that, even if you have this code, it will not work when you add it anywhere else. it will only work for that page/post alone.

Hope this explains it briefly.

Thanks for the clarification

Thank you for your understanding
