How do you remove few social media icons from the footer?

Hello there,
I am just starting to use X theme. Loving it so far!! I just want to remove few social media icons(not all) from the footer. How do I do it ?

Hi There,

Go to Theme Options > Social > remove the links from the respective icons.

Hi Joao,

I tried removing all the links but for some reason, the following social icons always appear: Twitter, FB, IG.

I’ve tried only adding links for FB and IG as well but the front remains the same and the FB and IG links also do not work.

Do you know if there is an open bug for this? Or is there anything else I need to do? I’m currently running WP 4.8.1 and X theme 4.6.4.

Hey @Compwiz,

Thanks for writing around! You’re using an old version of X theme, please update X and Cornerstone to the latest version first. You can find the latest version numbers here: (http://theme.co/changelog/) Then you can compare them to what’s installed on your site.

If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.

Let us know if the issue remains after updating the theme.

Hey there,

Thanks for writing around! I just tested the social icons in my local setup (V5.1.1) and the’re working as expected. Make sure you empty the field of the social icons to remove it from the front end. Also make sure to purge the cache if you’re using any cache plugin.
