How do non-developers design widget ads, CTA's, etc. if you can't use Cornerstone?

I use Theme X, and design my pages using Cornerstone. I know some html and css, but am very slow.

I use widgets to run ads and other CTAs on my site. However, because I can’t use Cornerstone, designing them is horribly time-consuming. My current workflow is to create the ad in Cornerstone on a private page, publish it, then spend hours trying to cut and paste the appropriate html into a Custom HTML widget.

Is there a drag-and-drop solution similar to Cornerstone for designing these widget ads? I realize this is a ThemeCo support forum, but if there’s no solution offered by ThemeCo, can you at least help me search for an appropriate 3rd party solution? I don’t even know what search terms to use.

Hey @srmaximo,

Global Blocks is the solution to your problem. You can learn more about Global Blocks here https://theme.co/docs/global-blocks

Just a tip: Since you’re designing for the widget area which is narrow, you will want a narrow preview and that’s possible by activating the Responsive Preview button just above the Save button in the builder.

Once activated, switch to the smallest screen preview.
