How do I verify my website with Google Webmaster?

Hi, I’m trying to verify my website with Google Webmaster…where do I add the html file? Please see image attached. I’m sure this is a really easy question to answer (sorry…new here). Thanks for your help. D.

Thanks for asking.

You just need to upload the HTML file to the root directory of your server. You can use FTP programs like Filezilla to upload the file. I am sharing a resource that you can take a look for some help with Filezilla:
