How do I validate Theme X license in sites under subfolers

Hi support team,

According to the following post, the license I bought recently for my wordpress multisite installation ought to work on sites that use subfolders :

Use x-theme on a multisite installation of Wordpress

But that isn’t working: the Cornerstone home page for the subsite says “Cornerstone is not validated. Place your Envato purchase code or Themeco license for instant access to automatic updates, support, and custom templates. Learn more about product validation or manage licenses directly in your Themeco account.”

I have tried entering the license for the root domain, but it doesn’t work.

Can you help me please ?

Cornerstone is not validated. Place your Envato purchase code or Themeco license for instant access to automatic updates, support, and custom templates. Learn more about product validation or manage licenses directly in your Themeco account.

This would mean that you are using Cornerstone as a stand alone plugin which is why it is asking you to validate it. You cannot validate Cornerstone using your X theme license. X theme license can only be use to validate X theme. Once X theme is validated, Cornerstone gets automatically validated as well.

If ever you have renamed the x folder name into something else, then Cornerstone will also ask you to validate it because Cornerstone can no longer find the x folder. You will need to rename it back again.

Thanks so much for your fast response. I activated the X theme in my new site and then used my existing product code to validate X theme. It worked !

So problem solved and I am back in action.
