How do I use font awesome icons in the "Text typing content" option

Greetings,

First thank you for an amazing theme. I’m creating my website entirely from my phone and the Pro theme makes it possible.

I’m really enjoying the header builder and love the text typing feature.

I do not see a way to add icons as you can’t use shortcodes or HTML and don’t see a codebox option. Oddly I was easily able to add emojis from my Android phone but none are a good fit like the ones you have.

Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time and an amazing theme.

P.s. I do wish you could click that button that allows you to add users, post etc easily for icons.

Hey Chris,

You can add the FontAwesome icons to a text element using the icon’s shortcode.

Please find the list of the shortcode you can use here:

Hope this helps.

Hi Chris,

My colleague talked about the Text element. It seems that you want to add this in the Headline element. Unfortunately the Headline element Typewriter section does not accept and render icons.

Thank you for your understanding.

Thanks but I wonder how then is it able to render emoji icons from the Android Keyboard?

It does. I see it’s just built into wordpress to use emojis. Found a decent one for what I wanted so worked out

Thanks for your time and support.
