How do I temporarily deactivate a main menu page?

I have a shop page but want to deactivate it for a while, but not throw it away. How do I do this?

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! Are you using WooCommerce to display your shop? If that is the case, simply deactivate WooCommerce plugin in the plugins section and the shop page will not display. You can reactivate it again if you want to display your shop page back.
