Hi with this update it has changed the dashboard overview so you have to select a product to see license info. I have been purchasing bulk licenses and adding new sites as I need them by going to overview and assigning. I can’t see unused licenses anymore and also only gives me the ability to purchase a single license rather than the 5pack. I plan on making another client site live this evening and I know when I do this I will need to add a new license code could you please tell me how to see unused. As there isn’t even a basic total count like say 28/31 licenses active or something so if it was 31/31 I would know I need to purchase more.
Hello Quentin,
Our apologies for the inconvenience. You should be able to see all the licenses you have added to your account in you dashboard:
In case some of the license are not present in the list, try going to the URL:
https://theme.co/account/license/xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
Please replace xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
with the license key you are looking for,
In case you are not able to find the license, try adding them again in your account.
You may also provide us the license keys missing in a secure note so that we can check it.
The option available right now to the license purchase is only for single licenses. We will be adding the option to purchase 5 pack in the coming days.
Hope this helps.
Just to add my thoughts to this thread… Currently I think it is harder to manage multiple licences than previously.
Before I could see all licences at the same time, along with notes. Now I have to go through each licence individually… everything is still possible, but takes so much longer. I only have about 40 licences and already I’m finding the new screens adding pain to the experience.
some ideas for improvements…
- show unused licences separately
- include a search button on the licences so that we can find the contents of notes or urls etc
- have an overview view of all licences similar to the old method
Thanks
Scot
Hi Scot,
Thank you for your feedback. We certainly will inform our development team about your suggestions.
Thank you.
Ok yep so I had used all my license just wasn’t easy to see this without manually checking how many I had purchased via email invoices then going back here and counting. I have now gone to your main https://theme.co/pro/ and found I could purchase 5 pack from there and purchased this and now see unused ones just display code no website. Letting me know that in here would at least made the process easier to see if I needed to purchase more.
Hi @quentosity,
Thank you for the feedback on this process, and thank you for your bulk purchase and continued use of Pro. I’m glad you were able to get that to work, and that you’re seeing the licenses in your account now.
We are working on a search/filtering functionality that will make it easier to manage a larger number of licenses in your account. We’re also going to restore the option in the dashboard to directly purchase in bulk instead of having to use the Pro sales page directly.
Thanks for the extra changes on the search licences…
Currently the search does not include the notes field. For instance I search “Luna” which is mentioned in my licence notes but nothing comes up in the search. This meant I had to go down all the temporary url licences to find the one I wanted
It would be great if the search, searched all of the content related to licences… Thanks for your efforts so far
Hi Scot,
Thank you for your feedback. We will inform our development team about your input.
Thank you
Hey @scotbaston,
Great suggestions on searching notes. We’ve made some adjustments and this is possible now.
Thanks @alexander, that is most excellent
If I were to suggest 2 other changes please
- can that search also be replicated for the Pro Unlimited licences
- can the width of the licence urls be a bit wider, as it is not easy to see which url is being shown (especially true of temporary cloudways urls)
Big thanks sir!
Hi @scotbaston,
It should appear for Pro Unlimited as well if you have multiple sites. We don’t have plans to change the width since that has other side effects with the design. The current width we landed on works for the average domain length - I do see what you mean where it overflows somewhat early with temp Cloudways URLs. Hopefully searching will help make that easier to identify.
Thanks for the explanation @alexander that all makes sense
I’d not added multiple sites to the unlimited licence
You’re welcome.
